Jensen offered to make dinner last night...his own concoction of various salad dressings.

Higher Education

Jensen got a new high chair, and I thought it would be good for Joshua to try putting it together. I thought he might need my help, but he did it all by himself.

Well...not quite by himself. He did have the extremely capable help of his very own personal assistant:

What you can't see are the car keys he's holding in his right hand. I wonder where he was heading? Where do babies go on their road trips? Toys r Us? The milk store? Hmmm...

Wherever he was heading, it was so important he couldn't stop to put his pants back on!

It's HARD being one!!

There is so much to do... things to learn, stuff to eat, books to drool on, toys to play with... the list is endless. It really wears a guy out!

Jensen's new car

Jensen got the cutest toy as a present from the Codespotis. It's a little bunny who sings in a British accent and rides around in a car. The really funny thing is, if the car runs into something the bunny pops out and there's a crashing noise. Whenever that happens Jensen gets mad and will pick the bunny up and make a funny face. Or cry. I know a good mom doesn't laugh when her baby cries...but it's really funny. Hopefully I'll be able to get a video of it soon.

Jensen's Birthday Party!

Finally...we were able to have Jensen's very first birthday party.
The good thing about the snow postponing the party is that Bob was able to attend, and Austin and Connor came, too.

Although Joshua was more excited about the birthday cake than Jensen, the birthday boy did begin to realize how much fun a cake can be.
